Assembly Of Troy Bilt Pressure Washer Parts

Before anything at all, it’s highly recommended that you read down the provided troy-bilt pressure washer parts manual first. As there can be specific warnings regarding the assembly that you should know.

Once you are ready with that, here’s a short brief of what to do:

  • Start by attaching the handle to the main unit’s handle support area and you should use the provided handle carriage bolts and plastic for that.
  • Next, you need to place the accessory tray on the handle’s holes which should be seen if you are facing the front side of the unit. Use the tree clips for making the accessory tray sit flush. And you can place all the spray tips and supplied accessories on the tray.
  • Then you want to add the engine oil by removing the oil fill cap or dipstick and pouring the oil into it. Keep an eye on the oil level and stop when it hits the FULL mark on the dipstick. You also want to add clean and fresh fuel afterward and make sure it meets all the requirements mentioned in the manual.
  • The next part of the assembly involved lubricating the O-rings, and you can use any petroleum or synthetic grease lubricant type for this. And a light film should be enough. Don’t miss the QC fitting or M22 fitting or any hard-to-reach area, just use a tiny brush for better access.
  • You must follow this before assembling the garden hose with the nozzle extension, spray gun, pump, and high-pressure hose.
  • Then you have to connect the hose and water supply to the pump. The spray gun base should be connected with a high-pressure hose’s one end. While another end shall meet the pump’s high-pressure outlet. You can hand-tighten these connections.
  • Clean the inlet screen and then fix the water inlet to a garden hose. Let the water run for at least half a minute to make sure there’s no debris left behind.
  • And finally, it is ready for the first run. Now before starting the engine, you just want to make sure the handle is placed right secure, and the oil level is proper for the engine crankcase. All the hose connections should be tight enough and no cuts, damage, or kinks should be there in the high-pressure hose.
