1. Blocked Nozzle Tip
Sometimes the clogged nozzle can be so harsh that it won’t even allow any flow. In that case, the cleaning method is the only solution.
You can do this by disconnecting the wand from the washer. Use a solid wire to take out the stuck debris.
Now you have to flush water back to the nozzle and then reconnect the wand to the unit. Turn on the unit and depress the trigger to see if everything is working or not.
2. Worn Nozzle
Karcher pressure washers usually come with more than one nozzle for various functions. If you overuse one nozzle for all the tasks, then don’t complain about it going bad. How To Find GPM Of Your Source: You will need a 1-gallon container for the measurement. Put it under the water outlet and turn the source on. Use a stopwatch and measure how long it takes to fill the container. Divide your reading by 60 and you will get the GPM reading of your water source.
7. Worn out O-Rings
If your washer’s O rings are damaged, it will prevent the water from coming out properly. In that case, you will have to replace the O rings.
Fixed: First, remove the pressure nozzle from the pump. Then remove the old rings from the nozzle. Take the new rings and lubricate them before putting them into the slotting. Re-install the pressure nozzle and the machine is good to go.
8. There Might Be Something Wrong With The Water Inlet Filter
A water filter is a key component in a pressure washer. It helps the washer provide clean water and last longer. If it gets dirty then you better clean it using clean water to remove dirt. If damaged, then replace it with a new one to restore optimum pressure.
Solution: You can also replace the filter if things don’t work and all should be good. Apart from these, you can also check the unloader valve and the pump. Sometimes malfunctioning water pumps or bypass unloader valves can make issues in building pressure.
